A calm bay with history on the horizon.

Agathi sits close to Haraki in a protected cove of fine golden sand and clear water that stays shallow for some distance. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, with the rugged ruins of Feraklos Castle rising above the surrounding coast.

Sand & shallows

Fine golden sand continues into clear, shallow water. The sheltered shape of the bay usually keeps conditions gentler than on open coasts.

Families & timing

The long shallows suit younger swimmers, but normal supervision remains essential. Agathi is popular, so arrive early for more space.

Facilities

Seasonal beach service can include sunbeds, parasols, canteens, showers and toilets. Availability may change, so bring water and backup shade.

Access & Feraklos

The final approach includes a rougher road. Nearby Feraklos Castle rewards a careful climb in sturdy shoes outside the midday heat.
