Tsambika Beach · Rhodes
A wide 800-metre bay, turquoise shallows and enough space for a full beach day.
Tsambika sweeps between rocky hills on Rhodes’ east coast in a broad arc of fine golden sand. The atmosphere is lively but spacious, with clear shallow water below and a completely different perspective from the monastery high above the bay.

There is plenty of room for play and swimming, though the beach is popular. Arrive earlier for easier parking and a calmer start.
Seasonal facilities include sunbeds, parasols, showers, toilets, restaurants and a mini-market. Water sports operate in designated areas.
The upper monastery viewpoint involves nearly 300 steps. Go in the cooler morning or late afternoon with water and secure shoes.
